good news bears?

I have about a million of these "journals", but everywhere I go people abandon them and go with a new one. Is it me? Perhaps. Perhaps not. But I have been with Livejournal.com for 6 years and I have had friends come and go on there. Am just down to one friend, Geoff, who has been there since before I was even there. But every other blogger has come and gone. I'd like to think its for the same reason as myself: I don't want to be the ONLY one using this specific blog. But I guess I would be more conspicuous if I never told anyone about it. (therefore not letting anyone else's relationship with the blog affect me.) Hrmm...

But alas, perhaps this one will stick. I love writing in a journal but don't seem to do it on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis. Am not lacking the ambition, but perhaps the consistency needed to completely surrender myself to a blog.

So I raise my glass in hopes of keeping this "blog" alive and well. I vow to not let it become a waste of space on this world wide web. And most importantly, I vow to not let others comings and goings affect my view on a blog.
