I really still do love David Gray. Whenever I hear certain songs off of his album White Ladder, I takes be make to my first year of college and oddly enough, Lori and her ex-boyfriend to be exact. (If you could clear that up why I think of you and Kaz...that would be great.) But everything was so new then. Carefree and fab.

I got Ryan that CD for Christmas 2000. He had heard about David Gray because Dave Matthews was quoted as liking him, and Ryan was a huge DMB fan. I got a copy of the album immediately after I listened to his, and have loved it ever since. I am immediately transported back to that time in my life whenever I hear that album, too. Makes me think of that party we went to in Eau Claire with Ryan and Marci, the Jim Carrey Grinch movie, my first Christmas season away from home, you and me giving Ryan a "tour" of Durand....
Except for "This Year's Love"; that one has different connotations now. :)
